Crumble

Crumble indeed!
Throwing caution to the wind tonight
Indulge!


Had my favourite dishes for dinner tonight: baked rosemary chicken, spaghetti in olive oil with bell pepper and courgette. A fabulous dinner - even if only in my opinion - accompanied by family and a lovely bottle of French Pinot Noir.

I even made apple crumble for dessert: stewed apples in red wine, topped with cinnamon scented crumble.

I'll save you from having to guess what plant I was holding there. It's two twigs of Thai basil.


And you see here again the fresh basil as garnish on the apple crumble.

We had it with lime ripple ice cream.
